The Luxury of Time

Your wedding weekend begins on Friday.

This is what it looks like.

From the moment you arrive on Friday afternoon to your unhurried Sunday departure, The Grange Leverton is entirely yours.

We personally curated every space and detail in the venue to truly deliver the wow effect — not just with the interior design and décor, but also with the idea of smooth transition between the areas for your guests to always stay together.

The purpose of only one wedding per weekend is that this special event requires all our attention to execute the most unforgettable experience.

Full Venue Setup

The linen is steamed, the tables all set, the flowers are arranged, the caterers’ kitchen is prepped. The DIY details you dropped off earlier in the week are in place.

Eighty percent of the logistics that typically consume a wedding morning happened on Friday morning — without you stressing about any of these elements.

Your Arrival

You arrive to a venue that is ready. Your only job this afternoon is to unpack, settle in and have a nice cup of coffee with us.

The Signature Bridal Suite is yours. Closest family take up the on-site rooms. The wider party have independent accommodation two minutes down the road — space for up to 34 people in local independent accommodation and large hotels are just seven minutes away for anyone who prefers it. We’ll help you point everyone in the right direction.

The Rehearsal

This is one of the things couples tell us matters most, and it’s not for the obvious reason.

We bring your bridal party, groomsmen, parents, and any children into the Oak View Ceremony Hall — the room built around the glass extension and 200-year-old Oak that forms the backdrop of every ceremony photograph.

We walk through the order of the day, clarify every role, and give everyone a moment to simply be in the space.

The children especially. Saturday can be a lot — the music, the guests, all eyes on them. Friday evening lets them touch the room, walk it, feel comfortable in it. So that when it counts, they’re settled.

By the time the rehearsal is done, nobody goes into tomorrow with a question they haven’t already answered.

Bridal Setup

The Bride getting-ready room is available for your set up: hair and makeup stations prepared, dresses steamed, everything laid out so Saturday morning doesn’t start with logistics. It starts with you and your Bridal party enjoying every minute of your morning prep.

The Evening Before

This evening isn’t on the schedule. It’s yours to spend however feels right — the venue is quiet, the hard work is behind you, and tomorrow is going to be exactly as you imagined it.

You can spend it chilling with a glass of wine and your favourite take-away, or celebrating with your friends and family over delicious food in a local restaurant.

A Calm Morning

Wake up to Lincolnshire countryside from your private balcony. The getting-ready room is ready — hair and makeup stations, comfortable Chesterfield sofas for the bridesmaids, all the space and light you need for photographs with your closest people.

A continental breakfast of filled croissants, yogurts, fresh fruit and coffee is laid on for everyone staying on site.

The Ceremony

Your guests take their seats in the Oak View Ceremony Hall. As you open the doors and walk down the aisle, the glass extension frames the mature grounds and the oak beams above carry the sound of the music.

The Registrar is with you throughout. We recommend between 1:30 and 2:00 pm for a summer ceremony, when the light through the glass is at its finest.

Al Fresco Celebrations

Step into the private gardens for your drinks reception. Our bar is designed around an elevated experience — a large selection of gins, rums, Italian spritz, champagne, Prosecco, whiskeys and cocktails, all served in premium glassware.

You can create your own signature his-and-hers cocktails for the day. The cocktail menu is one of the highlights of the Grange bar.

The Wedding Breakfast

Move into the Dining Room — a separate space built specifically for dining, where the tables are set and stay in place all day so guests can sit and gather freely from breakfast through to the evening.

Round or trestle tables, your choice of gold, black or silver cutlery, all glassware and crockery included. Your caterers — selected from our curated list of Lincolnshire specialists — bring five-star service and a full menu from canapés through to evening food.

The Evening Reception

As the evening begins, the Oak View Hall comes into its own. Up to 120 evening guests join the celebration. The ceremony chairs are long gone — in their place, a dance floor and a row of black velvet Chesterfield sofas along the glass wall, creating a lounge where guests can sit, breathe, and watch the evening unfold.

The bar stays open, the cocktail hour flows, and the music carries through until half past eleven. We recommend pre-booking taxis — several local companies run cars, minibuses and coaches to bring your whole party safely home.

The Morning After

This is the part most couples say they treasure most. Gather your overnight guests for a second continental breakfast — croissants, yogurts, fruit, fresh coffee — still together, still on the estate.

The Grange is yours through Sunday morning, and there is nowhere you need to be. Couples tell us this is the part they didn’t expect to love as much as they do — the wedding is done, but the weekend isn’t. There is still time to sit with people you haven’t sat with properly, to hear how yesterday felt from someone else’s perspective.

Departures

When noon arrives, you leave with the quiet satisfaction of a weekend that held everything — every detail, every person, every moment — in one place, at one pace, entirely on your terms.

The Grange empties slowly and warmly, as a weekend celebration should. Not just a venue, but a way of being looked after. One wedding at a time, every detail held, nothing left to chance.
